Now, I’m pretty handy at finding whatever I need to online. I’ve tracked people in seconds for friends – something they’d failed to do for years. I can’t find anything which acts as a London based resource for musicians and bands. Most other cities have something going on, an online community. Even Norwich!

I seem to recall a website from years ago, which was split into boroughs or districts, and acted as a forum for bands, but I think it was a pretty underused resource. I wonder if this is because of London bands being more competitive than in other areas of the UK.

As I’m new to the city, and have lost touch with most people I knew here (some have moved away, and many I haven’t spoken to in a long time), I find it harder than I can possibly believe to find a good place to meet musicians.

THIS IS LONDON – CITY OF MUSIC, ART, CULTURE AND UNDERGROUND TALENT!

Is everyone really hiding THAT far underground? I’m not going to, I can tell you that for nothing. I plan to shout very loud indeed about everything I do – musical and otherwise. Why hide?
